Ricci-Anne Ferrer

In a 2011 doctor’s appointment, Ricci weighed in 40lbs overweight. She was amazed that she had let herself go. As a kid, Ricci always engaged in sports, but once in college, her only exercise surrounded the walk to training. She admits: “Mortified by this reality, I made certain the scale would not budge one pound further. My fitness journey with KINETICS™ began that November.” Thinking she would only stay for a month and join another gym afterwards, Ricci surprisingly became hooked.

She is now 32lbs lighter with some muscle to boot. “KINETICS™ has exactly what I need: a wide range of training sessions and an excellent staff. Boot Camp, WillPower and Grace®, Yoga, and my all time favorite, Zumba® keep me coming.” With Metra’s encouragement, Ricci became a certified Zumba® instructor. Kelly Goldhammer

Kelly Goldhammer, a student pursuing a degree in Applied Kinesiology at Rutgers University, is an enthusiastic and passionate personal trainer certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Even though she is new to the fitness industry, she is no stranger to the principles of exercise and nutrition. As an athlete and fitness enthusiast, she is well aware of the many benefits provided by regular physical activity. And she believes that with the right mindset and positive approach to working out and getting into shape, anyone can achieve their fitness goals.

Kelly specializes in core and stability training; her belief is that the core is literally the core of all functions and activities performed on a daily basis. She utilizes integrated exercises in her workouts to challenge the body and stimulate the mind, and is creative in her exercise design. With her upbeat attitude and personable demeanor, she is sure to inspire and encourage you in your pursuit of fitness and health.

Levi Guerrero

Levi, who is also known as Cacique de Ramos, has practiced the art of Capoeira for several years. Under the guidance of Mestre Zumbi, Levi became a certified instructor affiliated with Grupo Senzala from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He has been teaching Capoeira since 2006 in various locations in central and southern NJ, and is excited to share his practice within the KINETICS™ community. Primarily, Mr. Guerrero seeks to develop the mental and physical capabilities of his students, while simultaneously exposing them to the cultural heritage of Africa and Brazil.

Naomi Hanoch

A long time resident of Highland Park, Naomi has a deep-rooted love for the community and its closeness. She joined the KINETICS™ team in the summer of 2011 during her first year of college; but at that time was undecided as to what professional path to embark on. With an interest in health, nutrition and fitness, Naomi came to KINETICS™ with the hope of surrounding herself within a positive and nurturing atmosphere to learn from the best.

As KINETICS™ has grown and expanded, so has Naomi’s interest in health and wellness. Now well on her path to a nursing degree, she hopes to continue to provide the support, care, and assistance to the KINETICS™ staff and clientele to foster growth within the fitness community.

Shannon High

Shannon hails from Manalapan, NJ, and is a graduate from Rutgers College of Engineering with a M.S in Chemical Engineering. Her passion to become a fitness instructor derives from her own personal journey: “There was a time when I was about 65lbs heavier. With the help of a friend, I kindled a belief in myself to overcome this obstacle.” Since this personal experience, Shannon celebrates and promotes what fitness can do for both the mind and body. For Shannon, fitness is a way of life: it may not always be easy, but with patience and belief, the results will follow.

She currently teaches Step, and is certified in Group Fitness, Kickboxing, and Spinning®.

Mari Krum

Mari was born and raised in Hungary, and has always been a fitness enthusiast dating back to the Jane Fonda-era of aerobics videos and leg warmers. She came to the USA 23 years ago, exactly as the fitness industry started to bloom. She developed a passion to not only participate in fitness, but to motivate and teach others about its benefits and the development of healthy lifestyles. She was an avid long distance runner and ran fourteen marathons throughout her running career, including several Boston Marathon qualifiers and two Ultra-Marathons.

Currently, Mari does individual and group training sessions with a focus on functional fitness, strength, and endurance. She loves teaching Boot Camp training sessions! Her latest passion is Kettlebell training. In 2012 she even participated in a Kettlebell competition in NYC and ranked Level 1. She loves helping people reach their goals, whether it is in a one-on-one or group training setting. Her hobbies outside of fitness include everything involving her family, nutrition, and animals. Mari is a Certified Personal Trainer, Group Aerobic Instructor, and a Level 1 and Level 2 Certified Kettlebell Teacher.

Metra Lundy

Few leaders in the fitness industry can say that their work lies in changing lifestyles. Metra Lundy, a personal fitness trainer and group fitness instructor for over eight years, inspires clients to make permanent fitness changes for the good. Lundy has worked with hundreds of clients in the Tri-State area since 2003 using her signature style and approach to healthy and conscience living. ‘Train Smart, Eat Well, Live Life’ is the foundation and philosophy upon which her Personal Training and Group Fitness studio KINETICS™ is built on. Lundy and her team believe in “whole-concept thinking” and work to educate and motivate clients to reach their greatest fitness potentials.

Lundy, a former traditional West African dancer was inspired to launch a new and exciting exercise program and video called Manjani Fit. The DVD is a fun and unique exercise workout that combines the beauty of West African dance and traditional aerobics. Lundy holds several national Personal Training and Group Fitness certifications and teaches signature group training sessions at such as Zumba® Fitness, willPower & Grace® and more. Lundy believes that her educational background in both Accounting and Biology have made her a well-rounded and successful professional.

Geoffrey McBride

A New Jersey native, Geoffrey McBride has been involved in the fitness industry for over 11 years. A Division I scholarship Track and Field athlete, Geoffrey had been on the athletic scene since the age of 5. After he graduated from Rider University, he received certifications in Strength and Conditioning through the YMCA of USA program, as well as a Level One coaching certification through USATF with a specialty in endurance sprinting.

More recently, to face his own weight issues, Geoffrey took up Boxing as a way to tone muscle, lose weight, and build confidence. He studied and received his certification for Boxing Fitness and accomplished his Personal Training Certification through AAAI/ISMA. His motto drives his success: “Everyone has their fight; you just have to be willing to fight to win.”

Neha Patel

Neha’s background in dance started at age 4, as she was exposed to mostly Indian folk and Bollywood dancing. While studying for the bar exam in 2008, she was searching for new ways to stay fit and relieve stress. She discovered Zumba® and fell in love with the practice instantly. Zumba® combines her love for music, dance, and fitness in a fun, motivating, high-energy workout. In July 2010, she became certified in Zumba® Basics in order to share her love for Zumba® with others. She regularly incorporates Bollywood dance into her Zumba® routines at KINETICS™. At 5’2, her stature is the only small thing about her. Nelli has a big heart, an immense passion for excellence, and an unmatched desire to see her clients exceed their goals.

With a background in competitive running, Nelli took off at age 12 in her homeland of Hungary and applies her competitive attitude honed through sport into her everyday life here in the USA. In Nelli’s eyes, there is no option other than the continuous progression toward success. At KINETICS™, Nelli channels her energy as a certified Personal Trainer and Boot Camp instructor.

Renée Tomlin

Currently pursuing a professional Track and Field career, Renée joins the Kinetics team with a background in competitive running. A 2012 USA Olympic Trials semi-finalist and 4 time All-American, she understands how to balance both mental and physical challenges at an elite level. A NJ native and student-athlete graduate from Georgetown University, she has landed in Highland Park in order to train with the NJ*NY Track Club. When she herself is not training, she thrives off of coaching, mentoring, and motivating others.

She currently teaches the ‘Couch to 5K’ class, and is inspired to lead Boot Camp classes in the future. You can also catch her at the front desk assisting in the organization of the KINETICS™ studio. Renée holds a Personal Training certification from AAAI/ISMA, and has experience as a Volunteer Assistant Coach at Georgetown University and Ocean City High School.
