The Perfect Threesome

This totally happened!

Maxine was firm in her response.

“I’m not doing that exercise.

I’m 74 years old,  my back hurts and

it’s too hard.

We’ve all been there right?

Someone asks us to do

Something that feels darn near

 impossible and we push back.

 

I gave a gentle trainer grin,

looked to my right and Karen,

Maxine’s daughter responded.

 “Cancel, Cancel mommy,

you can do it.”  I followed up with

“let’s try this modification.”

Now, I know you guys can

relate to that feeling of wanting

To give up when an exercise

feels difficult.  I made one small

tweak to Maxine’s plank and the

impossible all of a sudden felt possible.

She pushed through.

I love Maxine and Karen.

They are wonderful women

and veterans at Kinetics. Maxine’s

goals have been to melt away the fat

around her midsection.  Karen’s goals

Have been to achieve greater

strength in her upper body and core.

Mother, daughter, and trainer are a

team because It makes sense.

Karen and Maxine put forth the

effort to workout Regularly, eat well, and

 recommit to their goals daily.

 I help them find new ways to melt fat,

build strength, drive

Them to work hard, and move them towards

being in the best shapes of their lives.

 

Question:

Why do we try to accomplish our fitness

Goals alone?  Seriously, wouldn’t it be

Much easier to get rid of the annoying

Roll of fat around our bellies, and extra

blubber Sitting on our backs if we just

got help?

 

 

High power companies, leaders, and

famous coaches have it right!

They bring passionate and driven

people together, create amazing

teams, and successes.  We could do the

same thing.  We could decide daily that

there is no other choice but for us

To be in the best shape of your lives

and mindfully surround  ourselves

With the team that pushes

 us to the point of success.

 

 

I hold Maxine and Karen accountable

To high standards and provide safe ways

For them to push for more. Karen and Maxine

encourage and support each other.  Together,

we make changes in their bodies for the better.
