Training Descriptions

AntiGravity® Yoga: This class combines traditional yoga principles with elements from aerial acrobatics, dance, Pilates and calisthenics. AntiGravity® Yoga helps students realign their body and spirit to achieve physical and mental decompression. While defying gravity, you will learn to fly, hold, and balance in challenging yoga poses. These challenges will result in better kinesthetic awareness, improved cardiovascular and muscular strength, enhanced flexibility, increased joint mobility, decompressed vertebrae of the spine, and amplified agility. This class emphasizes having fun, while learning new skills and experiencing a total body workout.

 

Boot Camp: Boot Camps are fusion classes designed to take any beginner, intermediate or advanced exerciser to their next fitness level. Clients avoid stagnant fitness plateaus by maintaining the variety needed to drop weight, build muscle, and look great continuously!

 

Capoeira: This Brazilian style of fitness fuses martial arts, acrobatics, and dance. It is a perfect workout for participants looking to burn calories, build strength, and improve self- discipline, confidence, balance, and coordination while having a great time.

 

Cardio Kickboxing: An intense, non-contact kickboxing class designed to build strength and flexibility. This high-energy aerobics program delivers a punch to the pounds and kicks up your cardiovascular abilities. This class is an exciting way to tone and trim while getting fit and staying healthy.

 

Cardio Sculpt: Experience this challenging and dynamic whole body muscle conditioning class by using dumbbells, bands, tubes, exercise balls, and body bars as resistance tools. Clients will sculpt and tone one repetition at time.

 

Cardio Step & Tone (Interval & Power): This 50 minute class session consists of aerobic step training with intervals of resistance training. This class works all major muscle groups and is designed specifically to improve strength and cardiovascular conditioning. If steady state and boredom is not your thing, this class is for you!

 

Couch to 5K: In this class, you will learn to love the practice of endurance running. Together we build our core strength, mileage, and confidence up to a final 5K competition. Through steady progression training, individuals receives personal attention regarding running form, strengthening, flexibility exercises, and injury prevention. Let’s get outside and get going!

 

Fitness Yoga: Fitness yoga is a wonderful way to improve your mind-body connection, reduce stress, build strength, flexibility and improve overall health. Using guidelines issued by the American College of Sports Medicine, participants engage in safe ways to challenge their bodies through traditional yoga poses and toning exercises.

 

Mat Pilates: This mixed level Pilates mat class focuses on strength, precision, and flow of movement. Students will learn to be aware of breathing patterns and spinal alignment, while engaging the deep muscles of the core. Over time clients will improve strength, flexibility, balance, posture, and alignment.

 

TRX Suspension Training®: In this class students participate in a revolutionary method of leverage bodyweight exercises. Using suspension traps, participants safely perform hundreds of exercises that build power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, and prevent injuries, all at the intensity you choose.

 

willPower & Grace®: A mix of some of the industry’s most popular and powerful programs including dance, yoga and cardio workouts performed entirely on your bare feet! This sweaty combination of high-energy moves and stretches are intended to help you improve your strength and balance while training your body to function with more agility. Over time you will stand taller and move with more grace and confidence.

Zumba®: This workout program combines a blend of zesty Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves guaranteed to have your spirits high while the pounds fall off. Zumba® is designed to make exercising enjoyable and fun. This 50 minute blast of fast-paced, energizing dance and cardio will give you the long term benefits you desire while adding some pep to your step.

 

Zumba Toning®: This class takes the Zumba® party to the next level by fusing Latin-inspired dance with body sculpting techniques. Participants in this class use lightweight toning sticks (1-2.5 pounds) similar to maracas in order to step the workout up. Combined with dance moves, these sticks are a fun way to improve cardiovascular performance, tone, and strengthen the body’s muscles. Toning Sticks are required for this class. Sticks can be purchased at the Front Desk or through our Store
